Pupuseria Salvadoreña: Reviews & Ratings
So good. Awesome place. Great food. Really glad this place exists. Sometimes takes a while so next time I might call ahead.
Feeling adventurous to try something new. I ordered the Pupusas, tamale & sope. I wanted to try a variety so I can see what I like. My favorite was the sope. It was all interesting in a good way. I enjoyed trying new foods and I will definitely be back to try the burrito and tacos next visit. The prices are very reasonable. The people working were incredibly nice.
I LOVE the fact that there is a pupuseria in Wilkes-Barre!!
I have had pupusa's for the first time ever about 8 years ago in San Francisco after I had them they were an always food to find in all the places I moved while living in California. I moved back to Pennsylvania 2017 and I hadn't had a pupusa for years till we drove by this place a few times and tried to figure out how to get there. It was worth it I like the specials if you buy larger amounts you will not regret it, we got the 20 with 3 free so we did the chicken bean and cheese 10 + bean and cheese 10 + cheese the free .... best idea and adventure ever. These ladies are doing a good thing pupusa is life I swear now that we have found it we will travel the hour to have it my other half is El Salvadorian so he vouched for this being as close to California flavor and home it filled a void. Someone did state they would do better business of they did pork we aren't in total disagreement it would be a nice idea to have more than one meat but chicken is a good one as well easier on the stomach. Now if only we could find an In n Out.
I don’t remember if I wrote a review but my mom and I have been coming here for the past 7 years now. We love all the food and the drinks. My personal fav is the Passionfruit juice I can literally drink a keg of it if I could. The owner is such a sweetheart always. We drive from Pittston just to get he drinks and pupusas. 10/10. A hidden gem.
The food is bomb . This was my first time trying papusas and I love them the slaw with the hot sauce make it so delicious. They are cash only so make sure to remember that‼
I’ve came here so many times, too many to count, the pupusas are the popular dish. It’s what I always pick! Every Wednesday they have the pupusa special! 11 for 22.50. And a singular are 2.25 I think? I don’t get singulars, It’s too good. I always recommend to all my family and friends.
Simply delicious! I love the chicken pupusa best. Outdoor dining is available.
